46. Bronze Fly Tying Skills Award Workshop - Gay Penney, & Jerry Coviello. This workshop is designed to assist students learn the fly tying techniques necessary for tying the required flies specified for receiving the Bronze Fly Tying Skills Award. Three of the five required patterns for the program will be taught with emphasis on techniques that apply to the required and three tier selected patterns that must be submitted. Students will develop skills of application to a wide range of patterns. Equipment Supplied By Student: Standard fly tying tools and variety of thread 6/0 or smaller All other materials are included with the workshop It is recommended that students review the online Bronze Award curriculum prior to the class Equipment: Intermediate fly tying skills Standard fly tying equipment and variety of thread 6/0 or smaller Thursday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Level: Intermediate Class Limit: 10 Member fee: $40 Nonmember fee: $50

89. Fly Tying Class for Beginners - Jerry Coviello & Chris Coviello. This workshop is for anyone who wants to learn how to tie a fly but didn't know how to start. We will go over fly tying tools, materials, types of flies and what they imitate. Students will tie two flies, a Woolly Bugger and Elk Hair Caddis, both are required Bronze and Silver Skill Award patterns. Equipment: Good attitude and willingness to learn. Instructor will also provide hooks, hackles, chenille, thread, tan dubbing, elk hair, copper wire, gold wire, marabou feathers. Saturday: 8 a.m. to noon Level: Beginner Class Limit: 8 Member fee: $30 Nonmember fee: $40 Material fee: $10
